Building Trust in the Community
262 CORE uses trusted relationships and community-centered strategies to engage residents, strengthen neighborhoods, and connect individuals and families to opportunities and support. Our work combines outreach, conflict engagement, resource navigation, and long-term relationship building to create pathways toward stronger communities and safer neighborhoods.
We recognize that no single strategy can solve community challenges alone. Sustainable change requires collaboration, trust, investment, and consistent engagement over time. Through our Community Organizers, we work to create access where traditional systems often struggle to reach.

Corey Prince
Program Director
Corey Prince serves as the Program Director of 262 CORE, bringing more than a decade of experience in community engagement, violence prevention, advocacy, and outreach strategy. A lifelong Racine resident, Corey has dedicated his career to building relationships, connecting residents to resources, and developing community-driven solutions that strengthen neighborhoods and improve public safety.
Through his leadership roles in nonprofit organizations, government partnerships, and grassroots initiatives, Corey has successfully led outreach campaigns, community safety initiatives, mentorship programs, and policy advocacy efforts at the local, state, and national levels. His work is grounded in lived experience, relationship-building, and a commitment to creating opportunities for individuals and families facing barriers to success.
As Program Director, Corey oversees outreach operations, partnership development, conflict engagement strategies, resource coordination, and program implementation. He is committed to ensuring 262 CORE remains responsive, accessible, and accountable to the communities it serves.

Tanya Wooden
Program Coordinator
Tanya Wooden serves as the Program Coordinator for 262 CORE, bringing a unique combination of lived experience, community leadership, advocacy, and relationship-building to her work. Deeply committed to supporting individuals and families facing adversity, Tanya has spent years working alongside community members to address barriers, promote healing, and create pathways to opportunity.
As a respected community advocate and leader, Tanya has been actively involved in initiatives focused on violence prevention, family support, youth engagement, victim advocacy, and community empowerment. Her work has helped amplify community voices, strengthen connections between residents and resources, and foster meaningful dialogue around issues impacting neighborhoods and families.
In her role with 262 CORE, Tanya coordinates outreach efforts, supports program participants, manages community partnerships, and helps connect residents to critical services and opportunities. Her ability to build trust, navigate complex situations, and engage individuals with compassion and authenticity makes her an invaluable resource to both the program and the community.
